📍 Cantidad en Inglés

Se usan para indicar cantidad de cosas o personas en inglés, ya sea contable o incontable.

💡 Nota: Algunas expresiones cambian según si el sustantivo es contable o incontable.

✏️Expresiones de Cantidad

  • Much: mucho/a (incontables) → much water, much sugar
  • Many: muchos/as (contables) → many books, many chairs
  • A lot of: mucho/a, muchos/as (contable e incontable) → a lot of people, a lot of milk
  • Few / A few: pocos (contables) → few apples, a few friends
  • Little / A little: poco (incontables) → little money, a little juice

💡Ejemplos Avanzados

🔹 Much

She doesn’t have much time. → Ella no tiene mucho tiempo.

🔹 Many

There are many books on the shelf. → Hay muchos libros en la estantería.

🔹 A lot of

We have a lot of friends. → Tenemos muchos amigos.

🔹 Few / A few

I have few coins left. → Me quedan pocas monedas.

🔹 Little / A little

There is little milk in the fridge. → Hay poca leche en la nevera.

  • Usa many y few con sustantivos contables.
  • A lot of funciona con ambos tipos de sustantivos.
  • “A few” y “a little” tienen sentido positivo, mientras que “few” y “little” enfatizan escasez.
