Un adverbio modifica un verbo, adjetivo u otro adverbio. Muchos adverbios se forman a partir de adjetivos añadiendo -ly.
📋Reglas paso a paso
- 1️⃣ Para la mayoría de los adjetivos: adjetivo + ly. Ejemplo: quick → quickly.
- 2️⃣ Si termina en
y: cambiar la y por i +-ly. Ejemplo: happy → happily. - 3️⃣ Si termina en
le: reemplazarleporly. Ejemplo: gentle → gently. - 4️⃣ Excepciones: good → well, fast → fast, hard → hard.
- 5️⃣ Siempre que describas una acción, usa adverbios, no adjetivos. Ejemplo incorrecto: She walks slow → correcto: She walks slowly.
