Problem Statment

At school, a project on entrepreneurship is being developed where each group of students must propose a business idea. The group of Dahiana and Amalfi chose leather goods (marroquinería) because in their community there are people who work with leather making bags, belts, and wallets. However, the group is facing several difficulties: • They don’t know how to make their products different from those of big factories. • Some classmates believe that using leather may harm the environment. • The group’s budget is limited, and they don’t know how to promote what they make. Dahiana and Amalfi’s challenge is to find creative and sustainable solutions so that their leather goods project is viable, attractive, and environmentally friendly.
