This project arose in response to the need to improve certain areas of the educational institution that are visually unappealing, have unpleasant odors, and suffer from inadequate plastic waste reuse. With the aim of contributing to the well-being of the student community and promoting environmental awareness, the creation of a vertical garden made from recycled plastic bottles is proposed.
The initiative involves designing and implementing a vertical garden on a wall or fence at the school, using easy-to-maintain ornamental and aromatic plants. In addition to beautifying the surroundings, these plants will help create a more pleasant environment and reduce certain odors in specific areas.
The project promotes sustainability through the reuse of recyclable materials, strengthens students' environmental awareness, and fosters values such as responsibility, teamwork, and commitment to environmental stewardship.
